All articles/submissions are subject to editing as per the editorial team’s editing policy for reasons of space, clarity and otherwise.

The magazine will refrain from publishing any politically biased write-ups directed towards any groups or individuals.

Information contained in Al-Hadiyah can be copied, distributed and printed, as long as it is quoted in its entirety, the source is mentioned and the contents remain unchanged.

Regarding your submissions:

Any write-upthat is contributed to Al-Hadiyah must be an original piece of work by the writer.

It should not have been published elsewhere. If it has been, and you still wish to submit it, it has to be stated.

Al-Hadiyah’s Editorial team has the right to accept or decline your submission. Sending your write-up does not necessitate entry into the magazine.

Sometimes, your submission maybe sent back to you with requests for improving it.

Your write-up can be published in either of the two places- The Magazine itself or on this website.

Writers who want to conduct interviews should first discuss with/ seek permission from Al-Hadiyah Editorial team.

Guidelines for articles

English translation of the Holy Qur’an will be taken from only Sahih International- http://www.islamicbookstore.com/b5269.html  (Found online at http://www.imaanstar.com or http://quran.com/) or “The Noble Quran” translated by Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan (published by “Darussalam,” Saudi Arabia).

Writers are required to make sure to the best of their ability the authenticity of the Ahadeeth and other quotations used from books or other resources. please take extra caution when quoting tafseer of any ayah in the Qur’an.

It is strictly not allowed to plagiarize any quotes from authors without a mention of their name.

For transliteration of commonly used Arabic words, please refer to “Glossary”.

All transliterated Arabic words should start with capital letters. For example: it should be “Salah” and not “salah”.
